So you’re about to wrap up a fellowship or residency or just months away from graduating from medical school. Now what?
The Medical Alumni Association has designed a conference with you mind! Formerly called the Business of Medicine series, the Charting Your Course in Medicine and Beyond conference will give you the tools and tips you need to successfully transition into career employment.
Spend half a day interacting with expert panelists made up of noted Duke faculty, alumni, and other guests. You’ll have a chance to learn more about :
• Health care careers beyond the bedside
• Contract negotiations and employment agreements
• What malpractice is and why it’s important
• How to find and apply for fellowships
• Balancing family and medicine
